Cleaner Plus ("we", "our", or the "App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is handled in Cleaner Plus for iOS.

Information We DO NOT Collect

Cleaner Plus is designed with privacy as a priority:

  • NO personal data is collected or transmitted to our servers

  • NO photos, videos, or contacts leave your device

  • NO analytics or tracking data is collected

  • NO user behavior monitoring

  • NO advertising identifiers are collected

  • NO location data is accessed or stored

  • NO cloud storage or backup of your media

Local Data Processing Only

All app functionality operates exclusively on your device:

  • Photo and video analysis happens locally using on-device algorithms

  • Duplicate detection uses local hashing and comparison

  • Similar photo detection uses on-device image processing

  • Contact duplicate detection processes data locally

  • File size calculations are performed on your device

  • All deletions are performed through iOS system APIs

  • Temporary cached data (thumbnails) is stored only on your device and cleared regularly

Required Permissions Explained

The app requests these permissions for core functionality:

📸 PHOTO LIBRARY ACCESS

  • Purpose: Scan for duplicate/similar photos and large videos

  • Usage: Read/write access to analyze, delete items, and add compressed videos to your photo library

  • Data handling: Never transmitted off-device

👥 CONTACTS ACCESS (Optional)

  • Purpose: Identify duplicate contacts for merging

  • Usage: Read access to detect duplicates; merge only with user approval

  • Data handling: Processing occurs entirely on-device

You can revoke these permissions at any time through iOS Settings.

Data Deletion and User Control

  • DELETION PROCESS: Photos and videos deleted through the app are moved to the Recently Deleted folder in Apple's Photos app

  • 30-DAY RECOVERY: Deleted photos/videos remain recoverable for 30 days in Recently Deleted

  • PERMANENT DELETION: After 30 days, items are permanently removed by iOS

  • WE CANNOT RECOVER: We have no access to your data or deleted items

  • USER CONTROL: You have complete control over what gets deleted

  • PREVIEW BEFORE DELETE: The app always shows items before deletion

  • NO AUTOMATIC DELETION: Nothing in this app is deleted without your explicit action

Third-Party Services

Cleaner Plus uses minimal third-party services:

RevenueCat (Purchase Management)

  • Used solely for processing in-app purchases

  • No personal media data is shared

  • Only anonymous purchase tokens are transmitted

We do NOT use services for:

  • Analytics or user tracking

  • Advertising networks

  • Cloud storage of your media

  • Crash reporting with user data

  • Social media integration

In-App Purchases

  • Purchase processing is handled by Apple's App Store

  • We receive only a purchase receipt identifier

  • No payment information is collected or stored by us

  • Premium unlock is verified through Apple's servers

  • One-time purchase unlocks all features permanently

Data Security

  • All processing uses iOS security frameworks

  • No network communication of personal data

  • No data persistence beyond temporary caching

  • Follows iOS sandboxing and security best practices

  • No encryption needed as no data is transmitted or stored permanently

International Users

Cleaner Plus can be used globally as:

  • No data crosses international borders

  • All processing happens on your device

  • No servers in any country receive your data

  • Compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations by design

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Deny or revoke app permissions at any time

  • Delete the app and all its cached data

  • Use the app without providing any personal information

  • Contact us with privacy concerns

Since we don't collect data, traditional data rights (access, portability, correction) don't apply.

Software Ownership

Cleaner Plus and all its components, including but not limited to:

  • Source code and algorithms

  • User interface and design elements

  • Logos, icons, and graphics

  • Detection and analysis methods

  • All intellectual property

Are owned EXCLUSIVELY by Pine Mobile Apps and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. NO ownership rights are transferred to you through app download, purchase, or use. You receive ONLY a limited license to use the app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be indicated by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. Major changes may be communicated through app updates.
